Just to rest couple of hours and leave
This hotel it is just to crash for couple of hours at night and then leave, it was not really clean or took care of the inside. Restroom was really really small 2 persons cannot be at the same tim. Heating was not working and it was a bit cold as it was also a rainy day. The elevetor and stairs are so tiny I have never seen such an elevator or stairs. This hotel it is not for family or long vacation. The price for the quality it is high. it should be at least half of what it is now. On the other hand the location is fabulous, it is in the center and everything is close to it but if you want to have locationa and quality of stay it is not your choice.

The hotel was very clean. Not big on amenities. Great view of the Acropolis from the roof.

Centrally located hotel
Steps from pavement lobby to access the lift. We had the family room with lovely acropolis view terrace. Room could do with an upgrade though beds were comfortable. Bathroom again could do with sprucing up though everything worked.
5 min walk from airport bus stop in Syntagma square. Took about 50 mins and cost 6.50€.
Good breakfast for an extra?€7.50 - omelette freshly cooked with bacon , toaster, ham cheese coffee, tea, juice.
Very centrally located.

Romantic Acropolis Views in a Perfect Location
My stay at this hotel was truly a very pleasant experience. The place has a charming, cozy, and family-like atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the very beginning.
The hotel is very clean, and the room was extremely comfortable – perfect for resting after a full day of exploring the city.
One of the highlights is the view of the Acropolis, which adds a wonderful romantic touch, especially in the evening when it is beautifully illuminated.
The location is also very convenient for discovering Athens and walking around the area.
I would happily return here during my next visit to Athens.

Great little hotel. Perfect location within walking distance of just about everything.
Perfect location right in the Plaka. Nice family run hotel. Great value for the price. Clean and friendly. The room was tiny but had everything we needed. We opted for the economy room so I cannot speak for the other rooms.

Don’t stay here. The room is the size of a shoebox, there is no space and it is so outdated. The shower barely fits one person and every time you shower the entire bathroom floods. The location is good to plaka and sites but it is soooo loud. We barely could sleep because the church bells go off every 30 minutes and you could hear people talking like you were sitting next to them at dinner. I also woke up with bites all over my legs after sleeping. The manager was not friendly. Avoid

I stayed in their top floor family room for a night. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the bathroom. It smelled like rotten fish. I think it is the accumulated human filth that was never cleaned because all the drains were blocked. The smell was so strong that we had to open the window in order to sleep, otherwise my asthma will act up. It just so happens that one of their windows were broken and cannot be shut completely. I guess it's a blessing in disguise? The flip side is that the hotel is right next to the church and the bell tower rings every half hours. So yes, not only we had to bear the upsetting odour, we were also disturbed by the bell every 30 minutes. The room's decor was so old. Clearly no renovation had been done in the past 20 years. Table surfaces and electric switches looked super dirty. It got a bit cold in the night so I turned on the A/C for warmth. The A/C had a smell of mould. The bed sheets looked clean and new though. I think when they clean the room, they only change bed sheets and nothing else. Therefore everything except the bed is dirty. None of us had a good night's sleep. We didn't even dare to take bath as the shower looked so aged and dirty, plus that dead fish smell. The next morning, we checked out as soon as we could. The front desk staff asked why we checked out and we said we were changing hotels. Look at how their face change LOL. Considering the disgusting smell, I'd say this hotel so very overpriced.

An excellent hotel in a superb location
We loved this family-run hotel! Superb location within walking distance of the Acropolis, Contemporary Art Gallery, parks, shops, restaurant, no end of museums—too much to see in the short time we were there. Our room was comfy but smaller than some rooms, but it had a balcony with an excellent view of the Acropolis. The roof-top terrace was a great place to have breakfast in the sunshine, and the cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast) was wonderful. Olives, honey and yogurt, too! No bar, but in the afternoon or evening guests were free to take a bottle of wined snacks to the terrace.
The staff were friendly, especially the owner. And the tiny elevator (be warned: it's VERY tiny) was interesting in that one of the walls was open. Don't lean against it, or you'll feel the building sliding behind your back.
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. But be careful if you're taking a cab from the airport. Give the driver the address, because there's another hotel with a similar name (at a much higher price). Our friends were dropped off there when they arrived late one night and had to walk several blocks to the correct Metropolis.
Another thing to note: the Cathedral rings the hour and half hour 24/7. So if you're a light sleeper, take good ear plugs. Or enjoy the bells. We loved them!

Perfect for our two nights in Athens. Convenient location that is close to all the important attractions and has a great selection of restaurants around. As well as great supermarket down the road. The view from the rooftop was breathtaking!! Small room but perfect for a couple who just need to sleep and are out all day on the town.
